Beginning of Blog....we have to start somewhere

Crazy that I just beginning to blog.  It seems that it has been done for eons, and yet here I am, a newbie!  I know how it feels to be unsure of yourself and a bit timid in direction.  I understand that many people feel that way when confronted with food choices, exercise decisions, and life in general.
I sincerely hope that I will be the light through the storm for you.  While I will never have all the answers or guidance, we can work together to understand what is happening to our bodies as a result of our choices.  We all are able to lead inspired and empowered lives and I pray that through this blog, and our kinship I will provide that for you.
I sit here on this cloudy Sunday with my baby sleeping on my lap and I feel content.  The children are playing outside and the hubby is on his computer.   I know in a while though, that I will have to make decisions for dinner and for lunches tomorrow and that my friends is where the rubber meets the road.....let's travel it together!

  2. Kim! Too funny! I miss you and love you dearly! We are a perfect example of girlfriends that need to get together more!
I think we should expound on the "man socks!" How many women are still wearing their hubby's socks!? Liberation just may begin with the feet! Buy nice socks. Buy fancy socks.
My favorite socks in the world are Smartwool socks....but they can be a bit pricey! I will randomly find them at TJ Maxx or on sale at REI. They never bunch or shrink or stretch. They are awesome....

  4. I'm perplexed on the 'man sock' thing?? It never crossed my mind to wear my husbands socks! Of course, I'm pretty consistently barefoot and pregnant! ;) I do have some smart wools for the winter, but as long as it's above 45 degrees out - it's bare feet for me!

Glad you're blogging! I look forward to reading more!
